Mona Isler is the Executive Assistant and Staff Liaison to the Board of Trustees at WXXI Public Broadcasting. She supports the President and CEO, Executive Vice President & General Manager, the Board of Trustees and the Community Advisory Board.
She attends Joint Heirs Kingdom Ministries, where she spearheads the Health Ministry, ͞Soleful Strutters͟. Soleful Strutters began as a walking group to prepare for the Making Strides against Breast Cancer walk in 2015. Since that time, it has grown to offer fitness, education and nutrition classes at Joint Heirs and other ministries in the community.
Mona also sits on the Development Committee of the Interdenominational Health Ministry Coalition. IHMC assists faith organizations in developing, sustaining and growing health ministries to help mitigate health disparities in communities of color.
Mona is the mother of two adult children, Andrew and Aja and her cat, Blue.
