Rev. Phyllis Jackson is, first and foremost, a woman of faith who cares deeply about God’s people and their wholeness of mind, body, and spirit. As a registered nurse, she has consistently used her nursing knowledge and skills to both initiate and support health promotion efforts within African American churches, as well as in other faith and community settings. Her passion for this work is unmistakable and her vision, her enthusiasm, and her ability to draw others into this work has made a true difference in the health of so many people within the greater Rochester area, especially among the African American churches that have partnered with her in this work.
The Interdenominational Health Ministry Coalition (IHMC) is establishing this legacy scholarship in honor of all that she has set in motion. The application deadline is June 6, 2022. To apply, please download and fill out this form: PRJ Legacy Scholarship 2022-5-2-22 and return it to us before the deadline.
